Our Story
Born from the tradition of langar.
The langar is the world's oldest free kitchen — a place where the rich and the poor sit in the same row and eat the same food. Jan Kalyan Social Welfare Trust carries that spirit beyond the kitchen: every meal we serve is a promise that no one in our community is forgotten.
From one small Sunday langar, the trust has grown into a full social welfare movement — community kitchens, education support for children, healthcare camps and emergency relief — run entirely on the faith of volunteers and the generosity of donors like you.
